What is StashPad?

Is it free?
Yes. StashPad is completely free with no account required.
How long does my data last?
10 minutes from slot creation. After that, all data is permanently deleted — text, files, everything.
What if I forget my PIN?
There's no recovery. The PIN is the only way to access your slot. If you forget it, the data will auto-delete in 10 minutes anyway.
Is it secure?
Your content is end-to-end encrypted (AES-256-GCM) with a key derived from your PIN. The server stores only ciphertext it can't decrypt. PINs are 8 digits (100 million combinations), hashed with bcrypt, and 5 wrong guesses trigger a 5-minute lockout — brute-force is not viable. All transfers use HTTPS. No IP logs. After 10 minutes, everything is physically deleted from our servers.
Can I send files without an account?
Yes. No signup, no login, no email. Just create a slot, upload files (up to 50MB total), and share the PIN.
